Our Mission is

To create a more sustainable future of soft drink consumption without sacrificing convenience, comfort, utility, or accessibility.

The cup is designed to be sleek and comfortable, easily produced and distributed, and cost efficient, all while being environmentally friendly as an entire operation. We are constantly working to make our design look better, feel better, and work better… but most importantly, we want to get the cup in YOUR hands! How it began

Have you every walked by a garbage can at a fast food restaurant and noticed the abundance of soft drink waste? Most commonly in the form of a paper cup, followed by a plastic lid and plastic straw. All this waste ends up in landfills, and even worse, in oceans, and does not deteriorate for thousands and thousands of years. Even soft drink cups that claim to be compostable are only actually compostable under certain conditions, like heating up the waste to 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit, which rarely happens. Multiply this waste by the 50% of Americans who stated that they consume at least one soft drink in one form or another each day. That is 2.6 million soft drink, cups, bottles, and cans thrown away every day. This got us thinking that there has to be a better option for a more compostable all in one (cup, lid, and straw) soft drink cup, hence One Kind Cup was founded.
